Summer is here at last! And, Shia and I have the sunburns to prove it. Yesterday it finally warmed up enough for the kids and I to go to the pool. It was great. We were there all day. This past week Matt and I attended the Kanye West / Rhianna concert in Mpls. It was absolutely amazing. I felt so young and invigorated. That is until I flailed my body down 3 rows of bleachers dancing to "Don't Stop the Music". Not kidding. I have the bruises to prove that also.
On Friday Matt traveled to WI to take his Grandpa to a baseball game. His brother Chris and he got tickets to Brewers'/Twins (I think) game. They sat right behind 1st base. What a great memory for all of them.
On Saturday, Matt's Mom and I took the kids the Star Wars exhibit at the MN Science Museum. It should have been Matt that took them. I am sure there were a lot of Star Wars freaks that were completely appalled by my pronunciation and lack of knowledge of some of the displays. Regardless the kids had a blast and Grammy got a little nap in on the bench. So, fun was had by all.
